D-082: Glass House

Owned by Tomboy-Kei

Many hours ago the sunny sky had long ago gave way to a thunderstorm. The soft sounds of wildlife had retreated for now, leaving Ryuu to head in with his newest thunder dragon who was so clingy and sweet, unlike many thunders he had met so far. In the distance, a thunder bolt lit up the sky as the pink haired rider paused to watch it, or more so his dragon whose small hands pressed to the glass. Cordial loved the lightning time like any other thunder dragon, even if his personality didn’t match.

“You can’t go out, you know, you’ll get wet.” Ryou told his dragon as he looked up from reading his book, a thinner novel then he was used to about poetry and serenading the one you seek to seduce.

“I know.” The softer voice came back, sad but he understood the reasons behind it.

“Alright.... Would you like some tea to warm you up? It is getting a little chilly in here.” Not waiting for what was sure to be a yes, he dusted off his baggy pants of the fallen leaves from the plants above before heading over to the small area that served as a kitchen. Cordial was soon to follow and distract himself from the sadness of not being able to head out like the worms or Sheeva. They too were thunder dragons, but lacked those electric parts like he did.

Rather quiet to listen to the soft pitter patter of raindrops hit the transparent roof, it was a saving grace that all the plants had grown quite well and took to making shady areas and turning the non-private greenhouse into something that someone would be more comfortable living in.

“What kind of tea are we having today?” The wyrm dragon asked as he wrapped gently around the neck of his rider, curious as always while he stroked the puffy hair he often seen the blue fox stroking in their moments of quietness. Soft to the touch, it did leave him wondering what was the foxy boy up to as he watched Ryuu pour the hot water over the packets of tea to seep.

“Vanilla Chia tea, Gale found some leaves while out foraging and i thought it would be nice to drink and relax.”
“I see, I see. That is quite gay of you.” Not thinking anything of it, it was a line often heard by the white rider that owned the area. Usually said when Ryuu and Gale were flirting in their own ways, or being romantic without meaning to.

Huffing at his wiggly thunder dragon, much like his others, Ryuu didn’t deny nor confirm this. Only continuing to make the tea before adding some whip cream on top of Cordial’s cup, and adding a small amount of milk into his before starting to take it back to their relaxing area.

“After this we should get some rest, or do you want to sit up and watch the thunder some more?” Sitting down gently as he watched Cordial carry his cup in, setting it gently on the table nearest him as he stuck his little face directly into the whip cream topping and come back with his face covered in the fluff.

“I would like to sit and watch the lightning, but if you would like to sleep that is okay.”

“It’s fine, we can stay up a little longer, maybe the storm will pass and you can head out in the morning. That would be nice, wouldn’t it?”

Agreeing, the pair sat sipping in the plant filled home sweet home.
