D-106: The Shattered Fang

Owned by Returu

Theme: Hidden Market

The Shattered Fang, a merchant shop hidden amidst the bustling Skulkeen port town, hidden so well that people passing through the port simply do not see it, its rundown and 'shabby' exterior hiding its more exotic and lucretive wares; the shelves ususally stocked with items from other areas, and to one side a newer, 'apothecary', potions and vials of numerous sizes and shapes are on show; the stock rotates regurly, and sometimes base materials come up for sale. Those that know about it though, know the stock is sound, if a bit hefty on price, but the owner is not one to cross, the sharp eye'd doe one who will give a good bargain, and tear you apart if you think of double crossing her; even when in the middle of a deal, the stock is watched, the larger black eyes of a dragon nestled in the corner, ready to pounce should anyone try anything.

Behind the counter, the back rooms lie nestled, homely, and with trinkets of all sorts, a weapon here, sewing materials there, old baubles that are worth nothing, yet mean so much to the owner; and more recently several terrariums have been added, each one a different size, with various plants been cultivated inside; and new specimens been added and tested on. Two beds lie further back in the shop, one is neat and unslept on, but ready should it be needed, by the second half of the merchant pair; the second, covered in an array of blankets, less neat, but more used, a mirror next to it.

Not all the stock in the shop is brought in by the travelling buck, sometimes the Skulkeen themselves supplement the shop, a perfect front to move some of the more.... less desirable items the faction acquires, some is sold... others are transferred to travelling wagons..... all under the doe's sharp gaze.
