If you had ever met Dingo, at first glance you would assume she was simply another wild animal. She ran, howled, and snarled. She tore through the world with such vigor that she nearly seemed invincible and sometimes you’d see those colors flash by but it would be a two-legged beast instead of a small canine-ish animal. It’s howl would then turn to barks and laughter. A werewolf. It was definitely a werewolf.

But no, it was actually just Dingo having a grand time and running freely just because she could. This might have been easier to understand if you paid enough attention to the dragon trailing after her, although often he appeared too high to fully be seen and it could also look like the dragon was hunting the dog. Regardless, Dingo ran and her loyal companion followed. She ran and ran and ran until all she could do was jump as far as she could and call out in delite as gravity pulled her down into the ocean. Poseidon paused at the top of the tall cliff. He might have been worried if this was the first time his rider had jumped like this but it wasn’t. He glanced back and down briefly to watch the near identical tiny dragon to him backing up because running (more like hobbling) towards the cliff and jumping as well. What a handful they were. And then he was landing and backing up and then jumping from the cliff. He of course made sure the other two were out of the way first.

After a bit of a splash and swim session everyone returned to the shore and shook off. Poseidon looked around, he didn’t recognize this place, it was a beach yes, but not a beach he knew and he knew a lot of beaches. It was very large but at one point the land curled at what appeared to be the end of the beach. Large rocks and mountainous areas blocked the view past that. Away from the water sat a forest, it wasn’t thick and a few of its tropical like brethren spread across the open beach.

“I like it here!” A small yet still deep voice called out. It was the tiny near identical dragon that usually stayed close to Poseidon. “Hey, hey, what if we lived here? You know?”

Dingo looked up from where she was, covered in sand and still sorta digging, “Ya.” And then she went back to digging, as if she were digging a den already. Poseidon shook his head slightly, they’d have to build something proper but that could wait until they properly explored their new home.
