Elias sighed loudly as he basked in a nice sunny spot near his current place of residence, which was really just a semi shaded spot in a lovely forest type thing. Laying atop his chest was a rather large spider she made no noise and no movement, her mini me rested atop her, it was a tower. Next to the little tower lay a rather large dragon, head tucked beneath its wing, it honestly just looked like an oddly colored rock. Elias sighed again but it was a little louder and rougher, and next to him the large dragon shifted just a bit but didn’t get up or uncover themselves. The spider dragons however began to rouse and the bigger one stared at Elias, she didn’t move too much and while her eyes didn’t narrow he could still feel her sleepy glare.

“Yeah sorry.” This time the noise was a light hum, a thinking noise. “We need a place to properly sleep. A home or something.” This time the larger dragon unraveled itself to stare at the vernid. The voice that spoke out this time was deep, it was gruff in a way but low enough to send shivers down your back. “Yes, we do. I saw a possible spot when we were flying here but you obviously weren’t interested in hearing about it.” The words had a sharp bite to them and the blue rider found himself flinching internally. “Yeah okay, well I’m ready to see it now.”

“Of course you are.” The spider dragon and her companion had officially and crankily woken up fully and she sprung from the vernid and unto the bigger dragon in the process of getting up. Before Elias could grab chains or anything the dragon took to the air, snatching his rider up with a foot. It was a spiteful and irritated move and the vernid could do nothing but huff and puff but say no words.

Luckily it wasn’t a very long journey and when he was set down he stood up as if he was about to say something but the scenery seemed to snatch away his words. It was gorgeous. It was the most luscious and stunning thing Elias had ever seen and he’s seen some stuff. It was a jungle but when he turned around it was like looking off the edge of the world. It was an island, a floating island jungle. One that Elias could call his own, he nodded excitedly. “Oh hell yes!”
