Theme: A Simple Japanese House
It was marvelous, a thing of beauty that rivaled even Muriel himself. It was humongous, some would say way too much space for the incubus. It sat away from any other house, nestled away in a forest of sorts in a mountainous area. It was a traditional house, one of Japanese tradition, white with edges of magnificent stained wood. It looked as if it had come straight out of a fantasy and perhaps it had. Beautiful trees of Sakura flowers seemed to constantly be in bloom around it, making the house even more alluring. In the middle of the house there was a large open space where a flower garden sat, wondrous colors, and exotic flowers that perhaps could not be found anywhere else and in this garden also sat a koi pond, but if you looked close enough, were those actually koi fish? The pond was massive and over the top with a waterfall that trickled pleasantly, you could quite possibly lose yourself here if you were not careful.
Inside the house or mansion I suppose you could call it, there were many rooms, if you didn’t know your way around you’d get lost, so be cautious. Sometimes it felt as if the rooms never ended and perhaps they didn’t but you’d never find out, would you? At the back of the house there was a very large yard and other less traditional houses sat neatly, each with their own area, as if it were a village. Just how big was this mansion and its land? If you were to peek into one of these side houses(how rude) you’d spot a sleeping dragon adorned with many heads and horns, snoozing peacefully, the only time she was genuinely quiet.
You find yourself back in front of the main house, how did you get here? Perhaps you should come inside, have a break, some tea? Perhaps you might not want to leave?
