ED-1201: Mirage

Mirage (Espejismo) is a dragon descended from a long line of noble mounts. Although the Shéar monarchy has fallen from grace, Mirage and her Rider do their best to uphold the values the Shéar kingdom once held dear. They are fiercely loyal to their people and consider themselves servants of the community rather than entitled rulers.

The dragon herself lives in the deserts, patrolling for intruders or lost Irrít. Mirage is a welcome sight for allies and a fearsome foe for those the desert chooses as an enemy. She flies low and kicks up a trail of sandy clouds behind her. Because of this habit that obscures her presence, she gained the name Mirage.

Mirage herself is kind and gets along well with children. It isn't unusual for her to become over-attached to anything smaller than her when she is broody. If a child or hatchling is missing, her nest is the first place to check. 'It is easier to guard them from my nest,' is her favorite excuse for the well-meaning kidnappings.
