Personality:
Bean is a versitle little dragon that found it hard to eat with his malformed face, an injury that had made it so his jaws didn't quite align anymore. Malakai easily fixed it with his mask, and in repayment, he tried to help him back. The result was a bonding of utility, and later affection. Bean helps Malakai work on prosthetics for other dragons and riders, and helps maintain Mal's own dragons in a way that Aiko never got to grips with in the end. He's intelligent, and has good bedside manner, not that some dragons appreciate that in the first place.
He can be sharp and nononsense at times, but he means well. Often possesses Malakai's tools.
