Like most dragons with the independent mutation, Mistral does not need a bond with a rider, however she has chosen to bond with Calandra, the friendship between the two present since Cally was very young. She still retains much of her independence though. She's very creative, her 'hands' as capable as many a persons, help back only by the fact she only has use of one at time unless in the air, however she's secretive about her projects especially when they're 'in progress', often becoming moody when pressed about them. She's honest with everyone... if she doesn't like you you'll know about it; Mistral is generous, if she has something and feels someone needs it more she has no issues handing it over.    She gets along with most of the crew of the Radiant Star for the most part, though she wouldn't call them friends.
