Aegir is Calandra's thrid dragon, hatching from the same clutch of eggs as Thyra; at first this little wyrm was tiny and seemed to struggle with the simple things. Need and his riders saftety meant that once in the open sea, he grew to a collossal size. Rarely seen by the crew of the Radiant Star and those in Corli (other than teensy nestmate Thyra who regales him with tales of her exploits), tales are told of a Star's shadow, a leviathan that rises from the depths to protect the ship... and of course others say they are naught but rumors to deter other vessals from targeting it. He's never teally too far from the ship especially when it is sailing; and even when he does foray further, Wulfe is swift enough to get him. Aggressive and territorial of the Star (or more accurately Calandra) he will happily take out enemy vessels... and their crew...... and their contents..... unless the they sing or its a musical instrument, them he gets Wish to save as he loves listening to music.
