Bahamut is a bit of a strange dragon, his ability to see both the past and the future taking its toll on him,  especially as a hatchling; as he would often say or do something in response to something he'd seen, often resulting in him crying and curling up with his rider. Midnight was the one who helped him control his Night powers, despite her initial wariness due to his day heritage and her own history with a dragon of  that element; but she couldn't just sit and watch.  With at least one part of his magic under control, that just left his day magic, the future spinning out in various possiblities. He has gained some control over it, using what Midnight taught him and applying it the other way, but it sneaks in at strange times, which means he's  not always aware of why he is doing something.  He can come across as a bit of a 'spaced out' dragon, his flames on his halo the best way to tell if he's... present; if they're completely calm... he's probably not going to be aware of you (he likely got distracted by a stary vision). Bahamut is both a gentle soul, and a fierce enemy; he's particularly protective and caring with others that he knnows (or sees) and is courteus to almost everyon.... but get on his bad side and he'll pummell you to the ground, stomp  all over you and be grumpy for several days because you annoyed him..

It is a bit hard to fully judge Amuts size, due to his traits,  but he generally ends up in the large range his total length/height and wingpspan, though at times he can appear signficantly larger than that... aka he's big; though he isn't the biggest in the den  by far (That belongs to Abyss). He is able to change his size thanks to his inherent ability to wield dark magic due to his Night heritage.
