This big grump puts on a tough attitude...maybe? No, not really. If you actually get to know him, you'll see he's "secretly" a pushover and lets anyone he cares about boss him around. He's incredibly intelligent and resourceful, though he can also be optimistic to a fault. He has a habit of putting things off and hoping they get better on their own. He never intended to raise a dragon himself, but in the end he couldn't avoid an infestation of little dragons (guarded by Manta, of course). He works as an informant to the Shéar Rebellion when he can, but otherwise does his research in peace.
