Name: Cain
Nickname: Preacher
A man constantly on the move, he has never felt quite settled in his skin. There is a sense of forward motion in his every action, a driving determination that burns in his gaze. He gives off an unsettling impression to those who happen to meet him, though he is a solitary figure and rarely encounters civilization; his skin is sallow and thin, his frame pinched by malnutrition but still tall. His eyes, the color of bone, seem to pierce through onlookers although he is completely blind. He carries with him the Word of an alien god, and though he’s quiet and withdrawn, the spirit guides his every action. They call him the Preacher, and though he has walked through fire and brimstone, his own interpretation of the Word is through deed rather than dictation. His God is wrathful but just. Living by that code, Cain is willing to help those who ask for it; diplomatic enough to serve as a mediator, capable enough to hang shingles or dig post holes. Doesn’t hurry towards a decision, but he considers all actions carefully in order to arrive at the best solution. Once asked for a favor, he will do everything under his power to fulfill it. Despite his ghoulish appearance, surprisingly strong. Once he sets his mind to a task or makes a decision, his resolve is as unshakeable as the pillars of the earth.
