Doris is old. She's old, vain, full of herself, and very cross all the time. She is very proud of her family, but she shows it by berrating them and telling them about how they're doing everything wrong. Instead of encouraging, she's often demeaning. She carries her head high and doesn't stoop to look at those beneath her. Her family, her pride, and her family name are all she cares about. Unfortunately for her family, she was always spoiled and never grew out of throwing something of a temper tantrum and causing a scene. No one, and I mean NO ONE wants her to become offended or she will sulk for ages. She seeks out everything that is wrong with any situation and takes great care to point it out and give her unsolicited opinions. She actually has no power at all, being old and generally ignored because of it, but this has no affect on the fear she commands and the lengths at which her youngest family members will go to avoid her.
