R-148: Mala

 

Mala is optimistic and hopeful whenever possible, to the point that they come across as naïve or childlike to some. They (usually) know what's going on and when things aren't actually safe, they just like to be happy if they can help it and keep on moving. Life always has more adventures to get to. Mala is large and strong, and often gets involved in fairly physical outings - spelunking is one of their favorites, as they grew up in a cave.

 

Mala was born a feral Rixixi, but wound up introduced to civilized life over time, and as an adult, is mostly accustomed to it. They catch on quick and adapt well - being smarter than they might seem at first, but are still unfamiliar with a good handful of social norms, and often use simple wording when they can't remember what to say.
