Magpie was a back-alley psychic and body mods enthusiast before the brain injury and PTSD slowed eir down. Ei's still a back-alley psychic and body mods enthusiast, it just takes eir longer to get up now and half of eir divination questions are completely personal or 'cool but what if I'm undead'. The phouka comes across as at least mildly upbeat (or tired at worst, usually) due to a gallows humor habit, as well as preferring not to be taken seriously when nothing is actually happening. Likes to lay back with the dragons and ask them long, existential about life that ei doesn't expect any answer to.
