R-259: Prudence St. James

A beautiful young woman who is a part of the prestigious and highly-esteemed St. James family. Prudence grew up raised by a selfish and cruel father, and a mother who sheltered her from the uglier sides of her family as best she could, before sadly passing away when Prudence was sixteen. When required to step into the outside world, Prudence can play the part of a noble lady to a tee, being well-mannered and gracious, as a lady should. Inside the walls of the St. James mansion, however, things are different, for Pru's ladylike face that she presents to the world hides a deeply sensitive and insecure young woman. Prudence wishes to make her family proud, yet, to her father, at least, she never seems to be enough. As one that prefers being left to her own devices, to read, draw, or garden, anything involving simply being herself, Prudence has always felt judged by her relatives. She loves her family, and yet, is often ashamed by their vanity and callousness toward others. She hopes that, somehow, they can change for the better, but still, there is a secret, hidden part of her that sometimes longs to be free of them.
