R-282: Aureate

A once far kinder and more trusting Quetzalcoatl who made some poor choices when it came to friends earlier in her life-- a mistake she will not soon see repeated. Aureate is a strong gold-feathered mage with moderate red magic capabilities, and despite her handicapped state, she's not to be taken lightly. Her limited magical stores and general hatred for the peregrines for having left her in this sorry flightless state have left her bitter and unstable.

She's become a recluse and hidden away from Quetzalcoatl society out of shame for the insult she's suffered, and the fact that she let it happen. While she's killed all but one of those responsible, her burning hatred drives her to search far and wide, hunting relentlessly for her quarry. That's not to say that anything else caught in her path gets off easier-- gold magic requires fuel, and so does her own life. She can only store a portion of what she once could, and is especially ravenous for anything she can get.
