R-290: Myrtia

Like most Ere, Myrtia can easily spot ghosts and interact with them. Unlike most Ere, she has a penchant for looking into minds and listening to thoughts.  While that's not unheard of, the sheer power behind her magic is unusual. Her abilities were so sensitive that she could hear all nearby thoughts as a child.  Much of what she heard was nonsensical and negative, leading her to resent looking into the minds of others. She learned to shut out these thoughts--like hitting mute on a song--before her parents and doctor could determine the extent of her skill. This has led to plenty of misconceptions about how strong her magic is, since she does not respond to the voices of ghosts. As she aged and learned more about what her abilities meant, she was more than happy to let these misconceptions persist so she could live peacefully. She has gathered her own collection of ghosts over the years which appear to her as vines or flowers. They are beautiful, even if they make no noise.
