R-336: Nicolo

Nicolo, or Nico, was born in a loose form of an Irrit family group. He is considered an oddity, having darker skin than a normal dark tan, as well as his red hair being very dark and more of a brown shade. Despite him being an oddity, he was still close to his family group, practicing his magic with his siblings, and enjoying the travels. His interest for adventure was sparked when he first stopped at a town with his family group to buy goods. Seeing different people, different races interacting and being peaceful together made him wonder what it would be like to live amongst different people. Yet, being so young, and having a strong connection with his family, he stayed in the group.

As Nico grew up, he became more interested in other cultures, especially considering the war happening around them. Seeing how people acted differently towards others because of their race disturbed him. Wanting to make a change, he reluctantly left his family group, exchanging long goodbyes before he left. He does send them goods he finds in his travels, making sure they are alright. Often on his travels though, being away from the desert which is where his magic originates from, he has taken to visiting bars, numbing how weak his magic is. He has met many interesting people at the bars, showing him the best and the worst of people, and he has regretted visiting some towns and not doing anything. He has found himself regretting many things in his life if you ever get him drunk enough to break out of his usual quiet, stoic nature. One of the things he does not regret though is meeting his boyfriend, Ferdinand.

Nico is extremely protective of Ferdinand and would be willing to do anything for him. Ferdinand is the sole reason why he has joined the Abrendese Militia, with them eagerly using his magic. They are more careful with him, as he is limited with how much magic he can use, and instead, is to be a bodyguard for Ferdinand and their commander. This has brought many plans for Nico to do when they leave the Militia, wanting to destroy it seeing how they abuse those who they see are weaker than themselves. How it goes against Nico's morales and keeps Sherok as a warzone. So far, Nico has contained himself and has hidden his future plans and his detest for the Militia, but he refuses to drop his plans. He is simply waiting for the right time.
