R-363: Khazar

Khazar is a lonely creature. It comes off as blunt and brusque, self-isolating and self-reliant to a fault, refusing help seemingly out of sheet distrust of the other people, but nothing could be further from the truth. Khazar likes other people, cares about them immensely, and so keeps itself at a distance lest it ruin their lives.

Beneath the cloth wrapped around Khazar's head is an empty space and an eldritch star, an eye that can see the manifold and infinite futures of whomever it gazes upon, and when it is uncovered, Khazar is nothing more than its vessel. It speaks a torrent of possibility, ceaseless, often maddening, paranoia-inducing, or grim, until either the eye's attention is snapped elsewhere or it is covered. It is a powerful gift, but it cannot be controlled. As such, it only hurts those around Khazar.

Khazar comes from a nomadic culture that values unity and cooperation, and it feels the ache like a lost limb that it has no equivalent now. It wants a place to belong, but upon being welcomed into anyone's company, it is only a matter of time before Khazar begins to self sabotage, pushing the limits of their tolerance, half in hopes that someone will be more stubborn than it, and knowing that it is best to be sent away.

Khazar possesses a type of magic common among its people, having to do with threads. Its threads are red, and you shouldn't read into that :3
