He braved the dangers of a temperamental dragon and dutifully learned his required care. He led the way to the bandits at the word of a dark dragon, without truly understanding their intention. Above all, he put the needs of the egg before his own, and guarded the place where it seemed perfectly safe. The little dragon couldn't wait to hatch!
