But despite his claims and apparent annoyance, he was still quick to care for the many little dragons he found under his studious care--complaining but not refusing. She also saw him going beyond the needed minimum--not just caring for the little dragons, but enriching them as well. Such a soft, caring attitude hidden beneath a cold exterior, she thinks, made her positive that Liam could easily care for a haughty dragon of his own. Little projects each, for the other.
