Though tired, the dark colored coatl pushed himself to hurry through the air, each beat of his wings a hard thrust against an unfortunate upwind current. His resting place was coming into view, even if not quick enough for his liking. Two tall spires on each side twisting skyward, with a large flat house in between, surrounded by thick forest on all side. There was no clear road leading to the obscure residence, like something out of a horror movie one could get lost in for hours if one wasn't careful. The smoke trail leading from one of the towers tended to change colors, however, today it was a dull grey, blending in with the surrounding clouds.
The first thing to come to mind would have to be his loving mother, a black creature a bit bigger than his normal flight form, but a little smaller than he grew after a large meal. Their cooking was far superior than anything the militia gave him during his stay, even if it didn't help him grow his abilities much. Food wasn't what was on the young adult's mind at the moment though. His window still open as he left it, feathers flew as a scene straight out of Spirited Away played. While his room was spacious, he still had a fair amount of shelves that quivered on his entrance. A few books toppling off, but most were held up with a guard, this exact situation happening every other week.
"Dinner in half an hour!" Called up to him, his tail swishing to quickly pushed the scattered feathers under the bed. Sometimes he made them into little crafts for his adopted parents, or threw them out the window for any larger birds to grab for their nests. "I'm home! Thank you!" Shrinking down to his more humanoid form, there was one more special feature to his room Havoc had installed for him. Pressing on an indent on his wall, it rotated and gave way to a rather impressive gaming setup. Of course, he didn't have anything as impressive as the devices or computers in Havoc's laboratory, but he did love to crash into his room to tell anyone online at the time that he was back and available to play as soon as he ate. The online space was somewhere he considered a home away from home. It still couldn't compare to his family waiting downstairs, Aarav finishing up his messages to slide down the stair railing for dinner.
