[Gift] [CA] A sweet night
Phantom had been watching the starlit skies for some time, and not just tonight, but other nights as well. It had started simple, a flaming halo that had fallen near where he was swimming, a glimpse before it vanished to return to its owner. After that he'd caught glimpses of the other, of a set of wings unlike any he'd encountered before ad they flew overhead. More and more this strange dragon had drawn him, until he'd followed them, his large black form leaving the waters and heading inland, to were the mighty brown volcano, or Juatsapi stood looking out over the land. He'd lost the other there, but he could wait, shifting into the waters nearby as he waited .Nights passed and no sign, at one point he was about to leave when something large landed nearby, the full moon lighting up the gleaming dragon, from the immense wings, to the plating, scales of black and white, and fire lit eyes and the halo that had originally caught his attention. Excitement coursed through his body, a body that had grown large and strong, this feeling was new.. Much like the dragon before him. "Phantom." He said, his fluke sweeping the water as he introduced himself, his pupiless eyes looking up at the taller dragon, rearing up on his hind legs until he was almost the same height.
Bahumut settled, resting his wings. He'd been anticipating this meeting for some time, his day heritage showing glimpses of what was to come .In the shadow of the brown volcana, a stunning dragon reminiscent of the night sky would be here, why.. He didn't care at the time, but now…now he knew and he was curious and excited in equal measures. The moon showed features that he knew were likely hidden by the others markings, lthe and strong. "Bahamut. I saw you?" He responded, a wonder in his low voice as he spoke. He hadn't yet mastered his elemental magic but oh he liked this. "You're like the starlit sky and the darkest ocean." He purred, looking up at the skies above them, no clouds, just silent twinkling companions to the moon that lit up the volcano. He wasn't the most talkative of his riders dragons, and this.. Courting… was still so new to him, would Phantom realise and accept?. He moved closer to Phantom, raising his wings and curling them away, inviting Phantom to stargaze with him.
Phantom blinked, startled at the others voice and his comment. "You;'re like day and night at once." He said, the sentence clear, though his next words were more akin to how he normally spoke. "Wings… pretty.. Like the sky." his arms pointed at Bahamut's darker wings, the white speckled black almost vanishing. He moved closer, accepting Bahamut's invitation and carefully leaning against him, the pair looking up at the stars and moon above. Bahumt suddenly spoke, pointing to a part of the sky. "Keep watching." Curious Phantom stared, his white eyes widening as a shooting star darted over the horizon vanishing behind Juatasapi maw. The water nearby caught his attention, and he moved his forelimbs, the waters responding to his will.
The flash of what was to be faded as the shooting star vanished, but the wonder of that was eclipsed by the water that flowed around them, glittering and gleaming with the starlit sky and the moon. Entranced he watched it dance, reforming and twisting with the will of the dragon pressed against him. Occasionally a part of it would brush against him, though always careful of the fire that was a part of him, his halo spun quicker where it was hovering above his tail. He turned his head, careful of his snout and head to gently nuzzle Phantom as they sat in the shadow of the brown volcano, beneath the star and moonlit sky as the water reformed into pattern so complex and stunning that it would entrance any who their way.
