[GD] Goddess & Circuit
Strength Trial - 781
The moon hung above the shattered coliseum, stars glittering in the dark sky, and while it had been sued fairly recently but other dragons, it seemed as if magic ran through it, keeping the ruined coliseum in a singular state… ready to be used once more as the stage a dragons set of displays.
Goddess of Gods stood in the shallow waters within the coliseums arena, each head staring at their 'companion', the other dragon, tiny compared to their great body, Hina was reluctant to even fight Midnight as she was called, the small insect wings buzzing slighty. "Ready?" The tiny night dragon called out, her voice lilting and sweet. Mai waited no longer, the pink horned head lunging to crush the small dragon….. Only to have a massive earth boulder fall on her head… and each of the others. Startled, Goddess's body fell as each head tried to avoid the earth and getting tangled up in the process.
Circuit as used to fighting though she didn't like it…. And if she was honest she had never intended completing her display… but Magnus.. She shivered slightly, the wing she had flaring ever so slightyl, it was already worn, and she knew she would need another soon. A crash had her looking over towards the other two dragons, both Night… and both so different from herself. Her halo spun in her agitation, even as a shadow covered her and she looked up.. Into the confident beak of her own Companion ,a 6 limbed dragon known as Belthir… and one who did not need a rider. "We don't have to fight, you know?" He said. She cocked her head, halo slowing slightly. "Hmmm." Belthir said sitting back on his haunches and crossing his fore limbs. Another sound echoed as another boulder launched at the massive night dragon. "It might be dangerous but how about we use their battlefield as an obstacle course? See if you can beat me in a race?" He had seen her fly, even with the one wing. "Yes? If we may?" Her voice chipper, the dragon herself startled by his consideration. Before the pair launched themselves into the forary
Mai snarled as the boulders continued to come at them, the other dragons earth magic…annoying … how dare that pipsqueak use magic. While the pink horned dragon reverted to crushing the boulders with her jaws, Kana took over, the purple headed dragon bossy for a reason. "Mai stop snarling and focus on the boulders, Hina, I know you don't want to fight but this is a trial, if you won't attack help Mai with the boulders. Nara stop growling and help, Rai… stop winding Mai up and help." At any other times the other heads may of ignored Kana's bossiness, but in this she helped organise them, the boulders shattering from the force of their bites. The others focused on righting themselves and reared up to strike at the Midnight… who was no longer there, shed vanished into the shadows… before another volley of magic swung at the multiheaded dragon as she re-appeared atop another pillar. The waters churning below goddess, ice forming around the mouths to stop the jaws, combined with powerful winds to further unbalance Goddess… and boulders continued to fall on them. All the heads focused,, while still separate entities, their focus was so complete on proving themselves to Midnight. That they started to move in a more fluid aspect, weaving their own magic to counter the older (though smaller) dragon… perhaps it wasn't as flashy, or streamlined…. But no longer did the waters churn below… though the boulders kept on coming.
Circuit sensed an wayward ice shard heading her way, she was too close to a pillar to avoid it, her wing already at the end of it use swept out to deter the shard… and breaking in the process, briefly pain lanced though her as the limb detached… but she'd been through worse. Belthir was in front of her, using his long wyrm like body to weave around the flying dangers, his wings… been used more for turns than actual flight. She… didn't want to hurt him, but she also didn't want to lose, not because Magnus had told her to complete her Grand Display, but because she wanted to prove to Belthir she could. She reached out with her jungle magic, feeling for the flora around…. Vines exploded nearby, reaching out to trap the independent dragon, and giving Circuit the edge she needed to slip past him… and the orange horned head that snapped towards their companion, she heard Belthir chuckle as he fought the vines, but Circuit continued onwards…. It wasn’t over yet.

Flexibility Trial - 793 WC
The sun blazed down on the vast desert below, the rays scorching in the midday heat, so powerful and hot that most creatures had hunkered down in what little shade there was .. That is to say.. The massive earthen teeth that jutted out from the desert sands…. At any other time, these points may of provided shade, but not at this hour when the sun was at its Zenith, the winds that swirled around the party as painful as the sands they were traversing.
Goddess lumbered over the sands the black body absorbing the rays that touched them, all 7 heads struggling as they focused on each step.. Below them skimmed the small form or Midnight, her wings buzzing as she kept up with her much larger counterpart who was leading her through this unexplored area. At the start, Mai had snapped at the smaller dragon as was her norm, though it was not doused with a bit or respect, for small as Midnight may be she was much more skilled with her magic… but as the hours passed, what energy she did have faded, even Kana no longer bossed the others around. They panted, their greater size working against them, each foot of exposed scale burning them further. Nara looked up, her red horns gleaming in the blistering sun… as a small ball of water formed above them suddenly, droplets of water covering them as Midnight wove her magic… maybe only for a second… but that second was enough to cool them, to give them a bit more energy… Midnight fluttered up, landing on Hina's head and petting her gently.
Adjacent to Goddess of Gods, another par were traveling, and while Circuit was certainly nowhere near as large as the other dragon, or even her companion, it made it no more easier. Her scars though itched in the sun, and they hurt… though she tried not to let it show; her wing… she'd lost in the coliseum and as she'd not yet returned to Magnus.. She did not have a replacement.. Her halo reflected her energy, still and barely hovering overhead. Suddenly the suns glare ceased and she looked up… into the dappled fur of Belthir as he paced behind her… his neck and head providing shade and while the sands still burned her paws… "Thank.. You." She offered quietly, still unsure how to process the unusual consideration he showed her, not just here… but back at the coliseum as well. Her focus returned to the area around… all but devoid of visible life… Belthir didn't reply he simply followed for like Midnight, he had earthern heritage. Circuit reached out with her jungle magic, surely… there was something somewhere… further and further she stretched it… until she felt something .. "This way." She called out, she didn't know Goddess of Gods that well, the two merely completing the display at the same time…. So she didn't know if the other dragoness would follow. "Water… an oasis?" She followed up, coils pointing in the direction as the multi-headed dragon paced over and towered over her; blinking at the much smaller dragon sprawled out on the yellow horned head.
Shion looked at the Circuit and then reared up peering into the hazy distance, it was risky…. With one of her many paws she picked up Circuit, placing her on her own head, Mai may of snapped had she not been sick of the desert. "Point the way." The much smaller dragoness nodded, and her halo moved pointing. She didn't wait to see if the other companion followed they simply lunged forward, they wings furled tight as they followed the halo.. Sensing the other male keeping up with them, swimming though the sands like a fish. Night continued to scatter water on them to keep them cool… and Circuit after a moment's hesitation followed suit.
A hint of green in the distance, hazy at first, but soon it became clear it was no mirage, the trees strong as they grew around the waters, life giving in this unforgiving environment. All of the heads were in agreement as they plunged into the cool waters, the sheer force throwing both Circuit and Midnight off, the former was soon caught by Belthir… the latter simply fluttered up, laughing as the heads frolicked in the waters, ignoring the other three dragons as they cooled down.. "That should be enough… It'd be best to wait until nightfall before setting back off… but well done." The wyrm said, releasing Circuit. She blinked at him. "Feel free to seek me out, hmm" he winked at her, before diving into the sands and vanishing before she could respond. Circuit sank into the waters,,, staring at where Belthir had been a moment ago her mind whirring.

Providence Trial - 740 WC
This far into the moons cycle it was little more than a sliver, tomorrow it would be likely than it would be hidden completely; but for now the minuscule light it reflected down was more than for the pair of dragons, in fact neither of them needed the light, fully at home beneath the night sky, the stars, small glittering companions.. all the more brighter for the sliver of moonlight that caressed the dark scales of both dragonesses.
A few of Goddess of Gods heads peered further up the rocky cliff at the other dragon; while not quite working together, since they'd come this far in each others company they both decided to work on this part at the same time… though they were each going about it this time. Mai swing her head round, snapping in Hina's direction, though thankfully the pink head was to far away to actually make contact, still it brough Hina's attention back to the task at hand… or more truthfully .. The slumbering herd below in the base of the canyon. Asa though was nervous, the orange horned head aware their size might work against them.
Circuit had been aware of the huge dragons gaze and had done her best to ignore them.. Though she had learned that the yellowhead was…. Kind? A sensation the night hybrid was still unsure of. She returned her attention to the scattered plants that grew from the rocks surrounding the canyon, while Goddess was going hunting, she had decided to gather what she could, having already tasted a few berries prior, sweet and tangy and oh so delicious… and with her jungle magic, maybe she could grow some later?.... Though…. Where? She grasped the rocks tighter, her wing lost in the first trial would of helped, and her wind magic…. It was helpful for flying… grasping at canyon walls not so much. Still, her magic meant she could grow the plants a bit, making it slightly easier for her to gather them. Her halo spun quicker as she felt the earth shudder behind and below her, warily she grasped the rocks tighter and peered round, spotting the multi-headed dragons diving after the now alert herd.
For once Kana was quiet, though she longed to boss the others around, they were to a degree.. Sneaking up on the herd… though it took every ounce of her patience to not order the others around (hadn't stopped her earlier, at least until Shion told her off). They felt the wind shift, and knew they needed to act before the herd sensed them. They lunged of the cliff end they'd been on, wings flaring to slow their descent, all 6 front claws spread to inflict the most damage possible… 7 heads… mean an rather large amount of food. The herd had no warning…. Not until death came upon them, the massive dragon taking out several of the herd in the first attack… and all 7 heads lunged, mostly in tandem to take out more beasts. They didn't fight back, the flight instinct causing chaos as they tried to escape, the river that wove through the canyon now red as beast after beast fell to the Goddess's powerful jaws. As the last beasts scarpered, Godddes's roar of triumph shook the canyon with its volume… though the smaller dragon far above ignored her…except to grip the rock face tighter.
Circuit had seen worse things than the massacre occurring below her, her time in the fighting pit and her scars proof of that; so she ignored it, weaving her body along the rock face itself, her gaze on the minute plant that was growing there. The leaves a stunning red, and while no berries grew, the scent of the flower was sweet. She reached out with her jungle magic, appraising the plant , it was edible…. And had medicinal properties. She looked further along spotting several more clusters of the plant… and while it would mean multiple trips to get them all.. It would certainly be worth it. By the time Circuit finished gathering the plants she was after Goddess had vanished, the only sign of her presence the already fading red water and the splashed of red here and there below. She herself had gathered more than she needed, but it proved she could provide for herself; though it was both pride and dread that filled her heart as she started to make her way back to Magnus.
