Things we do for love

Malakai hates flying and doesn't trust Akeem as a result and Fidelia and Rivia have had a dubious relationship for many years - but to prove themselves, their activities couldn't be more different. 

Malakai needs to be able to fly; Its just a fact of life. He can't travel to Fi's homeland without a flying dragon, and to marry her, that was, obviously, a required step. He had to get over his fear, and Akeem was more then happy to show him how amazing soaring through clouds really can be, but his enthusiasm and careful flying didn't do anything except keep Malaki from falling off entirely. His death grip around his neck and his swear that he's never flying again until he absolutely has to, is the only sign of success. Akeem was proud of him for doing it at all, and it showed his dedication to Fi to both him and Vita, who had come along to be a harsh critic and be a hard judge to oppose Akeem's general friendly social attitude. 

Rivia on the other hand was harder to convince. It took a very long talk, and some reassurance from Aiko for her to finally, finally bend before she broke. After that hesitant trust was formed, the deal was sealed by her finally letting Fi near her face, and hug her. 

With the final preperations done... there were only two other things to do. 

In the romantic scenery of their trip to the Juatasapi, a proposal was made, and lovingly accepted. 

The wedding, however, would be a totally different story - and Malakai was not looking forward to proving his strength with Fidelia's extended family
