There are two ways for Familiars to show up on an import. First, a Soulbound Familiar may be illustrated at any time on the character who owns it. Second, the use of Bestia’s Blessing allows one non-Soulbound Familiar to show up on the import. You may use up to three Bestia’s Blessings per character. The effect of Bestia’s Blessing cannot be transferred, but you may change the Familiars depicted at any point.
This item can be used by the following characters:
- Riders who own a Familiar
- Dragons Bonded to a Rider with a Familiar, or vice versa.
In other words, the Familiar must be one your character owns or has access to.
You may change the depicted Familiar at any point, though the character must still have access to it. If the character loses access to the Familiar, then any future import updates must replace it with another Familiar or remove it.
Color Rules
Because these Familiars are not soulbound, they will not be affected by a dragon’s traits or magic. They may use alternate colors as long as they are recognized as the same species. They will not show extra magic effects or Paint effects unless the equipped Familiar already shows those.
Size Limits
Familiars must be 1/4th the size of the character or smaller. They will never obscure the traits of a dragon.
