Novice Blacksmith
- Unlock all novice level Blacksmith crafts.
Trained Blacksmith
- Unlock all intermediate level Blacksmith crafts.
Master Blacksmith
- When they or their dragon are depicted in one of the following Den Prompts, they bring back one additional item: Decorative Sword, Entertainment System, Forge, Head Mount, Koi Pond, Star Chart, Tacklebox. The inverse is true for Independent dragons, should they have a Rider: their Rider will bring back one extra item when depicted with their dragon. In the event that they share a job, the bonus does not stack. An Independent dragon's prompt bonus does not apply to any other dragons.

Unlocking and Promotions
For unlocking or promoting the job, pick any of the prompts below. Each promotion should use a different prompt.
Show your character creating a metal alloy that they've never worked with before. | Show your character learning about the safety precautions that smiths need to undergo while working. Some people might learn the hard way… | Show your character cooperating with other Blacksmiths to invent something new. | Show your character researching past techniques to ressurect a forgotten blacksmithing skill. In example, rediscovering an alloy, understanding an old construction technique, developing a replica of a lost weapon, and so on. |
Show an amazing piece of metalwork that inspires your character to improve their blacksmithing skills. This may also include advanced technology that relies on metal. | Your character has been commissioned for an incredibly specialized tool! Show your character crafting it or showing it off to their client. It will not be a sword, armor, or conventional smithing object. Examples: Bonsai Tree Trimmers, a motherboard, a complex wedding band, etc. . | There's a battle on the horizon. Show your character creating weapons, armor, or safety measures for the people around them. | Show your character using magic or science to create a machine from metal. For example, a computer or a communication device. |
It’s up to your character to repair some particularly damaged metal! Are they repairing armor? Sharpening a blade? Or perhaps fixing some sort of saddle apparatus? Show them at work! | Show your character constructing something large and metal, such as a boat, car, or plane. | Not all creations are big and flashy. Show your character creating small but essential materials, such as metal buttons or nails. | Creating is only half the battle. The other half is, well, regular battle. Show your blacksmith testing out their creations in real world conditions. Do their blades cut well? Do their hammers withstand the test of time? Find out! |
