A Rider or Independent Dragons may create a Den to reside in. It allows you to house 3 Familiars for Riders and any Soulbound Familiars for Independent Dragons. Note that the Independent trait cannot be recessive. You may also move in any amount of Den Furniture, many of which have special and unique activity prompts attached. When applying for a den or applying a home makeover, you must choose a decoration theme. Any art done of your den or any den prompts must match the theme. Here are some example themes:
- Giant Castle
- Crystal Cave
- Beachside Shack
- Volcano
Get creative and go wild! You may have one den per Rider. They may cohabitate for some of that sweet lore, but they CANNOT share furniture functions without a special bond. For Riders, this is a Second Bond. For Independent dragons, they may share a Den with their Rider and vice versa. However, any other dragons belonging to that Rider will not have access to the Independent dragon's Den. Dens must be done separately per Rider; The same piece can't be used more than once for a Den Founding. Once you are ready to establish a den, illustrate your Rider’s home. Written entries must be at least 300 words long. Include your exact theme so that it can be added to the Masterlist.
BENEFITS OF A DEN:
- Unique Prompts: Some decorations will give you unique prompts for special bonuses. Follow the prompt to gain the benefits.
- Familiars: Each familiar has its own unique effect and gives your dragon an EXP bonus when depicted alongside it.
- Prestige: Having a Den gives Riders more opportunities to gain Prestige.
