Paint

Creates a single and artificial symbol somewhere on the dragon. A heart, star, moon, pentagram, exclamation mark, question mark, ellipsis, zodiac sign, and similar symbols are all acceptable examples. Paint will not be mirrored; If you want it to appear on both sides of the dragon, you must use two paints. The paint should be small and contained. The example below shows the ideal size range for paint. It can have a single color, and the color does not need to obey elemental rules. To add additional colors, more paint is needed.

The shape limit is relative to the dragon’s size. You can see the absolute maximum and absolute minimum on the image above.

Shape Rules

Paint may be any artificial shape. A simple circle looks natural, so slightly adjusting that shape makes it a proper paint symbol. When using multiple shapes, they should be tightly packed (such as the dot in the letter i), rather than spaced out.

Texture Rules

It may be textured, have gradients within, and have holes inside it. It should not completely blend into the dragon's scales--it must appear artificial.

Color Rules

Paint does not obey color rules. It only has one color. For multiple colors, additional paints are needed. It will not dye a trait--you will want to use Skittertint for that.

Layering Rules

Paint appears on top of every mark, including Pollen.
