Auspice

Auspice is primarily a hunter and secondarily a treasure hunter. Much to the chagrin of his peers, he spends most of the time in the Chronoscape hunting instead of in Teteocan. In terms of magic power, he is the strongest alive, and a master of all three types of magic despite his young age. He has the most political sway in the city…or he would, if he would just stick around in the city for more than a day or two. He greatly prefers the “working work” and leaves politics, management, and research to people who care about that sort of thing. He enjoys the twists and turns life has to offer, so he specifically avoids using gold magic.

He’s humble towards other Quetzalcoatl and tends to hide his speculum feathers to avoid awkward interactions. He looks down on other species, though, and has no qualms about hunting them for food or sport. He especially hates humans. When Auspice was less skilled, the end of his tail was cut off by a peregrine, and he’s held a grudge ever since (even if that specific peregrine became a snack immediately after their mistake).
