Landmark: Timberframe Township Crest [interior], Half-timbered Buildings [exterior]

Once a set of independent towns and villages filled with Erré migrants to Shérok, over time it has slowly been assimilated and developed by groups of dignitaries and nobles favored by the Abrendese. It's called Municipius Craticii by its oldest inhabitants, while the nobles referr to it with an Abrendese name, Timberframe Township. In exchange for compliance and high taxes, residents are kept safe from "research volunteering" and the "reclaiming" of their land. Their architecture is known for its generous use of wooden beams, stucco or stone walls, and sharply pointed roofs. The Militia are present en masse and any sign of rebellion quickly quashed. Underneath the lush gardens and picturesque towns is a general sense of dread from any residents that don't quite align with the Militia. It doesn't help that some ruling families are more vicious in their loyalty than others.
